Swords of the Serpentine is a sword and sorcery-style game set in an ever-sinking city heavily inspired by Renaissance Venice. The system is based on the GUMSHOE system, meaning a focus on investigation, narrative, and putting all the clues together. All you will need is a few six-sided dice and writing utensils; no prior knowledge of the system is needed.
