The Gauntlet of Roses

"Hear ye, Hear ye! Her highness of the Fey courts, Queen Titania, has decreed once more host her annual challenge to the realm's four esteemed noble houses, the Gauntlet of Roses XXVII! Each house is invited to showcase their chosen champions' strengths of arm, skill, wit and magecraft against the other houses; the winner of which will secure for their homeland the bountiful blessings of the Fey for the next year. Glory awaits!"

Hello there! This will be an original one-shot for Daggerheart, being focused around a fantastical tournament between noble houses, with the winning house securing a year of blessings from the Fey Queen hosting the event. It will be for Level 3 characters, and those who are new to Daggerheart are very much welcome to join.

The sessions focus will be on the competition, to expect to see competitive events including Jousting, Archery, and even some magecraft as your party (comprised of characters from your house) will choose their champions to fight for glory! .. or perhaps bet on the winner, mingle with other houses, or do some underhanded cheating, perhaps- just don't get caught!

Session tone is light-hearted medieval fantasy, with some humour and frivolity and character roleplay and creative ideas to add to the narrative being strongly encouraged (and a core part of how Daggerheart works!).
