Cairo, 1926.
At the Hôtel Metropolitain, one of the city's most elegant refuges for wealthy travelers, guests have gone missing. The management would very much like the matter resolved, and resolved quietly. Your investigators have been called in to find out what happened. The answers lie somewhere between the hotel's polished marble and the steam and shadow of the city's old bathhouses. Cairo is an ancient city, and not everything beneath it has stayed buried.
